SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS |
You are expected to submit the assignment for one subject in one month (30 days). However, keeping in view the postal delays, which we anticipate, we allow 45 days for submission of the First Assignment, from the date of issue of this letter and later submit one every month or even earlier, if you can. |

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS |
- Assignment should be manuscript or computerized on full scape papers (Ruled/plain) leaving sufficient margins on left side only.
- Students should write neatly. As per your convenience, hand - written or computerized printout copy can be submitted.
- Registration Number, Name and Subject should be quoted invariably on the first page of assignment.
- Each subjects Assignment Must accompany with a Self Addressed Post Card for Acknowledgement purpose. No Ack should be asked & will be given for any assignment.
- Each Assignment will carry 100 Marks and will be evaluated by our experts. Evaluation reports will be sent to you by us automatically. No reminder is required. However, in case the evaluation report is not received within 60 days from the date of submission of assignment, a communication can be addressed to ‘The Director’/DLD.
- Students will be considered pass in all the assignments by securing 50% of marks or more. Those who fail to pass will be required to rewrite/resubmit assignments, with a Re-Evaluation fee of Rs 100/- per paper.

LATE SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS |
| All the assignments will be submitted as per the schedule of one assignment per month. In case the students cannot submit the assignments for one reason or the other they can still continue the course and submit the assignments with a Late Fee as prescribed in the admission letter. |

WEIGHTAGE OF ASSIGNMENTS AND EXAMINATIONS | The assignments for all subjects will be for 100 marks for
each paper (subject). The examination will also
be for 100 marks for each paper. The marks obtained
in both the assignments and examinations will
be merged and the grading will be awarded on the
composite score. AWARD OF FINAL COURSE
GRADING On completion of the course the system and categorisation
of Final Diploma Grading will be as under:
76% & above = 'D' (Distinction)
65% to 75% = 'A'
56% to 64% = 'B'
50% to 55% = 'Pass'
Below 50% = 'Fail'
HOLDING OF EXAMINATIONS Term end
examinations will be held in all he metropolitan
cities Twice a year for which the students are
required to submit application form on receipt
of communication from the Institute. These communications
will be issued at least Three Months in advance
so as to enable the students to plan accordingly
to attend the examinations. Students can exercise
the option either to clear all the papers in one
go during the two years duration or in piece-meal
whenever examination is held. Therefore, we follow
a flexible system, which does not force a student
to appear in the exam at a particular schedule
of BIMS during the two-years course duration.
Foreign
students can appear in the exam in India whenever
they visit India or we are also planning to hold
the examinations in one or two centers in the
gulf region.
The Institute
will award the Post Graduate Master Diplomas and
Diplomas, to all the successful candidates
All subject examinations will be conducted
at the each centre. The assignment and examination
will be for 100 mark each per subject. The marks
obtained in both the assignment and examination
will be merged and the overall grading will be
awarded on the composite score of 200 per subject.
Our
faculty will evaluate each assignment and Student
Performance Report containing the marks scored
by the student with the comments of the expert
faculty will also be sent to them. Each student
is expected to obtain a minimum of 50 Percent
of Marks to pass. Those who fail to secure 50
percent marks will be required to re-submit the
assignment with a fee of Rs. 50 per paper so as
to clear the subject. The students can exercise
this option till such time they clear the paper.
Term

EXEMPTION FROM THE EXAMINATIONS
We recognise
the value of experience/expertise gained by personnel,
from the Armed Forces and those already employed
in the Industries. We also understand that those
from the Armed Forces & Industries cannot
ordinarily get leave to attend our programmes.
Therefore, they will be treated as special category
admissions and will be exempted from term end
examinations subject to scoring 70%
or more marks consistently in all subject assignments.
They will be evaluated based on their assignments
works. Successful candidates will be awarded Post
Graduate Diplomas and Diplomas as the case may
be by the Institute.
