will be dispatched periodically to students on
receipt of various Fees Installments. Question
Papers which are to be answered in the form of
assignments will also be sent. This will be at
the rate of one subject study material per month. b) Students will be required to respond to the
questions (which are based on the study materials
to be issued by the institute) within a month.
In case of late assignment submissions, nominal
Late Fees, as mentioned in Admission Letter, per
subject will be charged. c) We will be holding contact programmes /examinations
in all metros and important state capitals during
May/Jun of each year. d) All the students are expected to attend the
same in order to have classroom exposure and gain
practical knowledge.The contact programmes are
expected to be conducted by Senior Managers &
expert faculties in those subjects. However, those
who cannot attend such programmes due to exigencies
of service can be exempted from the same or they
can attend the subsequent contact programmes. e) Towards the end of the programmes, students
will be encouraged to undertake Two-Month Project
Study in any company. Students from the industry
can undertake the project in their own company
where they may be serving presently. A letter
of communication to the companies will be issued
by the Institute on request from the student when
required. This requirement, however, is Optional.
f) Our faculty will evaluate each assignment
and a report containing the marks obtained by
the student with the comments of the expert faculty
will be sent to them. Each student is expected
to obtain a minimum of 50 percent of marks to
pass. Those who fail to secure 50 percent of the
marks will be required to re-submit the assignment
with a fee of Rs. 100 per paper so as to clear
the paper. This option can be exercised by the
students till such time they clear the paper. g) Term end examinations will be held at maximum
centres once a Year, for which the students are
required to submit application form on receipt
of communication from the Institute. These communications
will be issued at least Three Months in advance
so as to enable the students to plan and accordingly
to attend the examination. Students can exercise
the option either to clear all the papers in one
go during the two-year duration or in piece-meal
whenever examination is held. Therefore, we follow
a flexible system, which does not force a student
to appear in the exam at a particular schedule
as they can opt for any exam schedule of BIMS
during the two-year course duration.
