Commencement
of Course & Duration

The date of commencement
of the course will be as under:
Batch Year 2006
a. First Batch:
Commencing from 1st January 2007.
Applications received after 01st Oct 06 will
be considered in this course.
b. Second Batch:
Commencing from 1st June 2007.
Applications received after 01st Apr 2007 & will
be accommodated in this course.
NOTE: Notwithstanding
the date of admission each student will be allowed
a minimum of 40 days to respond to the first
assignments of the first study material and
thereafter the students will be required to
respond to one subject per month.
Programme Duration
1. Post Graduate Diploma
Programmes
a. For those employed in the
corporate world for more than one year and Officers
from the Armed Forces: 18 months from the date
of commencement of the course by registering
under Special Category Admissions.
b. For others: 24 months from
the date of commencement of the course.
2. Diploma Programmes:
12 months.
3. Maximum Duration
for the Completion of the Courses.
Students are expected to complete
the courses within the stipulated period as
mentioned above. However, keeping in view the
operational commitments of the officers from
the Armed Forces and commitments of those employed
in the Industry, the Institute would maintain
candidature in the live roster for a duration
mentioned below, provided they have remitted
the fees in time.
a. Post Graduate Diploma Programme:
4 years.
b. Diploma Programmes: 2 years.
